It delivers 300W of pure sine wave AC power (120V / 60Hz), perfect for small electronics like laptops, tablets, drones, cameras and CPAP machines. Avoid high-wattage heating appliances like coffee makers or hair dryers, which usually exceed the 300W limit — always check your device's rated watts before plugging in.

Can I use it as backup power for my computer or Wi-Fi?+

Yes. The v2 has a built-in UPS feature: plug the unit into the wall and your device into its AC port, and it runs in bypass mode. If the grid goes down, it switches to battery in about 20 milliseconds — fast enough that your router or PC won't reboot.

How fast can I recharge it?+

About 76 minutes to full from a wall outlet (80% in roughly 1 hour). From a 12V car port it's about 242 minutes (~4 hours), and about 9.5 hours with a SolarSaga 40W panel in full sun. Higher-watt Jackery panels recharge it faster.

Why did it turn off while I was still charging a device?+

That's Energy-Saving Mode. When enabled, the unit auto-shuts outputs after 6 hours if draw stays below 25W (AC) or 2W (USB/DC). To power low-wattage devices for long stretches, slide the Energy-Saving switch to the left to disable it.

Is the car charging cable included?+

The standard box includes the Explorer 300 v2 unit, an AC charging cable and the user manual. The car charging cable isn't included but can be purchased separately if you plan to charge on the road.

Can I use it in the rain or at the beach?+

It's built for the outdoors but isn't waterproof or dustproof. Use it indoors or in "indoor-like" spaces such as tents, RVs or cabins, keep it cool and dry, and leave the vents clear to prevent overheating.
